Goji-Maca Cacao

I love these nutrient + antioxidant rich ingredients to boost energy, balance hormones and nourish the heart & lungs. 

(Makes 2 cups)

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbs cacao powder, raw + organic

  • 2 tsp maca powder, raw + organic

  • 1 Tbs goji berries

  • 2 cups of liquid of choice – water, oatmilk, coconut or nut milk

  • Optional: 1 tsp hemp seeds, ½ tsp vanilla bean powder (or liquid extract), ½ tsp cinnamon, ½ tsp cardamom powder (or ground seeds), tiny pinch of cayenne pepper

Directions:

  1. Heat the liquid of choice in a small pot on the stove. Bring to a boil, and turn down to a simmer.

  2. Combine all the other ingredients and stir it into the pot.

  3. Turn off the heat.

  4. If smooth consistency is desired, you can also use an immersion blender at this point, or transfer to a glass blender.

  5. Sprinkle a dash of optional spices when serving.

  6. Enjoy with a loved one!
