Day 57/365 – On immigration

Since this is a hot topic as ever, here is a throwback to the video where politics, immigration and poverty are explained –  with gumballs, no less. Basically, it shows that in the long run, immigration hurts the parent nations by leaving them devoid of their brightest minds. These are the people that can lift up the overall productivity of the nation, but instead they immigrate out and take all of their potential with them.

Something to think about. How can we optimize productivity and population control to ensure adequate resources for all and opportunities to grow? No easy answers here, but theories like these are worth pondering.
